Well, picking up one day on a whim and driving across country to the mountains led to a few challenges. The first one we were faced with was finding an apartment. And once we found it, how we were going to pay for it. Having just graduated with my associates degree, I was the poster child of a broke college student. When we signed the lease and realized we were a few hundred dollars short on the security deposit, our landlord put us to work. The first task – shovel the snow and ice away from his airplane hangar! Haha, this was going to be fun. After a solid 8 hours of shoveling though, the job was complete and all was well. We would be settling in to the Park Meadows Condominiums in Fraser, CO.
