The Jersey Shore has a horrible reputation due to a group of people that escape the city and bring their ruckus to the beach for the summer weekends. While it is these people that provide jobs, tourism dollars, and a unique culture – it can for sure get really old, really fast.
However, it is also easy to avoid the crowds and get into the local scene, especially if you know where and (in this case) when to get some time to mellow out. This past weekend, I woke up to go fishing at sunrise, directly in front of what used to be the Jersey Shore house. The scenery is a bit different than a few hours earlier.
